ETC provides support to Department of Defense (DoD) policy makers for strategic planning, policy formation and program implementation. We work with the Office of Naval Research (ONR), Director Defense Research and Engineering (DDR&E), and the Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Navy for Acquisition and Technology (ASN, A&T) to form and bring alive the policies that drive defense innovation. ETC works directly with the DoD Laboratories Office; and the Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Development Office to develop the technical agenda and workforce to ensure U.S. national security in the 21st century.
