JESSICA PINKEY NAMED ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT FOR ENERGETICS TECHNOLOGY CENTER
La Plata, Md., April 16, 2008 – Jessica Pinkey has joined the Energetics Technology Center as Administrative Assistant, effective April 7, 2008. In addition to administrative duties, Ms. Pinkey will be responsible for planning events, coordinating public relations activities, and acting as a liaison with funding agency personnel.
Prior to joining the Energetics Technology Center, Ms. Pinkey served as the Community Relations Associate for Chaney Enterprises. In this capacity, Ms. Pinkey was responsible for promoting and building relationships, planning events, and public relations activities.
“Jessica is a great addition to our team,” said Bob Kavetsky, Executive Director for the ETC. “She has a proven track record of planning successful events and coordinating public relations activities. In addition, she is well known in the community and will be a great first-point-of contact for anyone contacting the Energetics Technology Center. We are delighted that she has joined our team.”
Ms. Pinkey holds an Associates degree in General Studies from the College of Southern Maryland and Bachelor of Science from the University of Maryland University College. She is currently pursuing a Master of Management Technology at the University of Maryland University College.
The Energetics Technology Center is private, non-profit enterprise dedicated to growing science and technology in Southern Maryland. The ETC focuses on workforce and economic development in the region and is a catalyst for energetics research and development. The ETC is currently based in La Plata, Maryland.
