WILLIAM HINCKLEY NAMED PROGRAM MANAGER FOR ENERGETICS TECHNOLOGY CENTER
La Plata, Md., January 22, 2008 – William Hinckley has joined the Energetics Technology Center (ETC) as Program Manager, effective January 14, 2008.
Prior to joining the ETC, Mr. Hinckley served as a Program Manager for the Naval Surface Warfare Center – Indian Head Division, where he worked primarily in the field of energetics research and development.
“Bill has extensive experience developing and managing complex energetic systems,” said Bob Kavetsky, Executive Director for the ETC. “His distinguished service at NSWC Indian Head Division, one of our strategic partners, will be extremely beneficial as we develop Southern Maryland into a global center for energetics research and development.”
Mr. Hinckley holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Master of Science, Mechanical Engineering, both from the University of Maryland. He is a recipient of the Navy’s Meritorious Civilian Service Award and the NDIA Bronze Medal.
The Energetics Technology Center is private, non-profit enterprise dedicated to growing science and technology in Southern Maryland. The ETC focuses on workforce and economic development in the region and is a catalyst for energetics research and development. The ETC is currently based in La Plata, Maryland.
